subs blown????

Did they play normally before and something just happened, or are you hooking them up for the first time? Also, what kind of subs and amp are you running? Any protect light on, or anything obvious to let you know that there is a problem? If you have sound, then something is getting through the amp. Almost sounds like your gain is set too low or you crossover set too high. Pics of amp settings would be helpful.

Your subs will sound like shit. If you "Blow your amp" it won't turn on, or automatically go into protection mode. Witch i think is a led that flashs red. Did you check the fuses in your amp?

Maybe his RCAs are on the output instead of the input.
Lolz, this. Seems like half the new people on this forum have issues relating to this...

To OP, if it isn't as simple as ^that^ then you can try measuring the coils on the woofers with a DMM to show if they are blown or functioning.

Could also be a loose ground, loose connection somewhere.
