hey guys,

well i started to notice my subs sounded like they were bottoming out. and i was just gonna keep playing them and if they blow then ill just get new ones because ive been wanting to try other shallow subs out there like the new jl tw5 but anyways so one day i was bumpin and i notice that i dont hear any bottoming out anymore but they werent hitting nearly as hard. i decide to look behind my seat one day and i find the cap of my sub is completely off. i dont know if cap is the correct word. i have no clue if there is even a name for this piece so i just took a picture off the internet to show you what im talking about. here it is.

sub.jpg

the piece i circled in green just popped off. should i just superglue it back on or what? please tell me what's goin on and what i should do. thanks

i was just making sure it wouldnt damage the voice coils or anything because i know you are supposed to wait to play your subs after putting silicone in your box. but thanks for the responce guys. i appreciate it.
