Edit: A certain source told me they both sound exactly the same, only the XXX needs more power to get it moving

the MX is a 4" coil neo motor, the XXX is a ferrite motor with a 3" coil. same baskets, thats it

The only thing they share is the frame. You'd be better off just buying a XXX.

So far as I know, its the same basket exactly.
