Subs Blowing?

I have a Kicker cvr in my winter car and its currently only being powered by a 300 watt rms amp so its being underpowered its set up under dual 2 ohm. The first sub I had stopped working and would only work when there was pressure put on the front of the sub it would work for a few seconds. So I replaced the sub with another Kicker CVR I had and for the first day it worked perfect. I got in my car this morning and it wasnt working and it is doing the same thing the first sub was doing.

Does this mean both my subs are now blown? Or is there something causing this?

Check the tinsels on the subs. I wouldnt be suprised if it has a tear for lack of better words in it. I was only giving mine 300 rms and the same thing happened. Look past the terminals, where it runs on the suspension

What else can I try and I am guessing the tinsel was the connections to the outside of the sub from the terminal to the cone

Yes that is called the tinsel lead. When you under power speakers its actually just a hard on them as over powering them. A clipped signal can cook the coils also.
