Subs barely moving everything is connected right.

either bad rca crimps? or something could be ****ed up internally in the amp ex. had a kicker amp in which a solder joint vibrated loose it still played but it sounded like shit

edit: this would make sense as the subs hit on your friends amp and your amp doesnt do anything to any subs

what do you mean resistance from amp, and i bought new rca cables and same thing. I dont understand it it worked in the other car i put these in same setup in the other car and it worked so it ahs to be something with the signal im nott sure what though. explain more about the resistance please

no it is not the amp because we have two hifonics amps both brand new and none of them work on the camry but when we put it in my friends car it worked. And in my friends car we put my amp and subs and box and wiring so bascially we wires the whole setup to my friend car and it worked. but when we wired it to the camry it did not work

If it's not the cables from the head unit that are bad, then it's something with the head unit.

check the subwoofer output to make sure it is on and turned up

check the crossover point and db level

So the same EXACT set of RCAs, power/ground wires, headunit, subwoofer and amp worked in another vehicle but not the Camry? That could be... a headache.

With the setup in da Can'tmry, get a portable CD player or mp3 player(with its volume turned way up) and a headphone-to-RCA adapter then hook it up directly to the amp's input, turn the amp on by jumping a wire from 12v to remote and see if the sub plays. If it still doesn't then you can eliminate any signal problems and focus on the amp and sub.

the headunit isnt bad because we replaced the headunit with another one and tried it again and the same problem. So it has to be something with the stock harness maybe?

wing man we did that. NOTHING. and you got that right big *** headache we have been trying to pin point this problem for 6 days now. And nothing im thinking it might be the stock radio harness before it reaches the harness

if your going from the headunit to the amp the stock harness would not interfere. Maybe you have some kind of highpass on the headunit, maybe the rca is broken. What i would do is plug an audio device directly to the amp(i use my ipod) and try to get sound out of it. If there is 2 subs( i think you have only one right?) and they share the same airspace but are wired out of phase that would cause a problem and this has happend to me before, easy fix.

as stated before, something can't work in one car and not in the next, more than likely the actual signal is not getting to the amp correctly. Maybe your rca is shorting... sounds like you've tried everything.

no the fuse is not blown bro. We have tried a headphone jack to rca jacks and plug it directly into the amp and still nothing man. But than we took the sub box and amp and wired it in another car and it worked

Does the Can'tmry have a factory premium audio system? If it does then it probably has a factory amplifier powering the factory speakers and if that's the case then you'll need to bypass the factory amp and run speaker wires from the new headunit to all the speakers. However that still doesn't explain why the sub won't work...

So it's down to the amp and the sub since everything else seems to work in your car, and since the sub is a pretty simply device(and it worked in another car) then I'm going to dismiss that too. The amp isn't touching any metal when you have everything tucked away yes? The ground is solid and voltage stays about the same when you have music playing?
