Subs arent working, checked everything.....?

bump

Ok so I checked each sub one at a time by themselves and one coil would work on each of them. Then I hooked both of them up and re wired them and still, NOTHING. No sound comes from them but my amp light comes on and responds to the bass on tracks......

The only thing I could think of is it is a fuse that is burnt but doesn't look like it...???

any one have ideas?

If you have dual voice coil subs, one coil is blown (open), and the coils are wired in series, you won't get anything. Try wiring the good coil to the amp outputs, low volume, just to test. Looks like you blew one coil of your sub.

I already tested them one at a time by themselves and at least one coil works on each of them but, for some reason one coil doesn't work on each of them too...??

I thought maybe the other coil on each of the subs, had to be connected for the other one to work too? Or could each one have a blown coil? RF sucks.
