I have emailed edelbrock about this more times than you could ever believe but never got nothin back what im dealing with is...........I am going to be running 2 12-13.5 or possibly 15's in my trunk..Either w7's or re xxx...And i am going to be running 2 edelbrock nitrous tanks back there and with those subs we all know they will pound pretty **** hard....So will the subs affect the nitrous system at all or possibly bother the tanks? I dont wanna create anything dangerous here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif lol......but also would like to have both of them in the trunk...Anyone who has dealt with this before???? Will i have any problems???

and if you have valves on the tanks and tubes and shit make sure all the connections are reallly tight and secure

thats just common sense though

lol dont say that....... one tank is actually going to be useful and the other is going to be a direct purge valve out the back or on the hood havent decided yet but 15 foot blue flame at night will look pretty neat ......

thanks for all the help.......... i really was confused and didnt want to find out in the wrong way that it was a problem im 16 and had a hard enough time getting my dad to let me get nitrous as is

you should be fine...you may have added heat in the trunk if you have amps back there, but NOS likes to be warm...but why two tanks? a 10-15lb bottle is more than enought for 10-12 passes??

NOS systems have triggers, and a needed purge system...so there won't be any ill effects buy putting them back there with the subs.

PS, NOS is addictive, so you better make sure your crank, rods, pistons are setup for it...and the piston rings are gapped for NOS. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so wait... youre gonna have an entire tank just to purge? isnt that wasteful? ive never bought it before but i have never heard nitrous being described as cheap... why not just get the single tank and a purge, and you can use the purge for what it is actually intended for...

I belive you cant purge all the time with a regular purge system so i wanna be able to do it whenever and no im not going to waste a whole tank or anything its just for show and to have some fun with at night................ and also if one tank runs out i can always disconnect the purge side and connect that bottle to the actualy system so i dont have to get them filled right at that moment

the purpose of the purge kit is to purge all of the air out of your nitrous lines, so what good is that doing if you arent purging the lines to your engine? btw, you said a 15 foot blue flame?? i saw that in a movie before it looked pretty retarded. i think it was called 2 gay 2 curious. but dude its your chevelle (which are hella nice cars)

, "you said a 15 foot blue flame?? i saw that in a movie before it looked pretty retarded. i think it was called 2 gay 2 curious"
lmao yea dont you love car movies that are just flashy?

yea its somethin you dont see a lot though and i have seen it in person it looks nothing like that movie bullshit

Thanks for the good info Polecat
