Just curious if anyone here has had issues with "ear fatigue" from the pounding of thier subs. I'm currently running 2-10" JL Audio W6v2's in a sealed enclosure. Sounds good...but they're underpowered. Got more power coming as these subs require more than I'm currently giving them. (800w rms on its way)
On the down side...I'm noticing that my ears are a bit "dull" when I get out of the car. THis lasts for a few hours. I never had this problem with my old Bazooka 10"...but of course it didnt sound near as good as what I've got now. I'm going to try running just 1 of the 10's and see if that helps...
Anyone else decide 2 subs is too much for thier ears?
I'll point out that I'm also 40, play rock and roll in a band and want to take care of my hearing! (But I sure like the THUMP!)
Maybe I'm just too **** old! ;-)
