15xxx shipped today

i shipped my xxx to re today to get a recone,,,hopefully ill get it back within two weeks....will the recone make it basically a brand new sub...im getting the 15mt from the group buy to see which i like better, whichever i wanna keep im gonna sell the other, from wha ive heard the mt would fit me better for my rap and hip hop music..ne opinions?

p.s. that sub weighs ****in 55 lbs...kills my pockets just to ship

XXX's will play lower and sound better with music material. That is not the bread n butter for an MT, but it is for a XXX. The MT will likely be a bit louder as it seems to be more efficient than the XXX, but the XXX will/should surpass it in every other way.

depends on the power you'll be putting to each. the mt can handle much much more than the xxx. the mt is not as bad as most say. ngsm13's doesn't sound bad at all and his 15mt is louded than his 18xxx was (to the ear). i can say that the 18 played a helluva lot lower. he had the 18 on an orion 2500 and the mt is on an ia 20.1.

i paid 65...i took it to a pakmail store with no box or anything, just the sub and they packaged it perfectly, i didnt wanna risk doing it myself, so i guess for 65 it wasnt too bad for them to supply to goods and pack it for me...
