subbox building for the poorman

hi im poor.

i jus got a second hand sub for £10 from ebay.. i go college n got part time job so havent got no money for buying nuthing. i jus wan build a box for this 12" sub using the stuff from my dads garage,

can i build a bodged box i dont care if it dont sound as good as it could, i jus need summin i cud do quickley.

Well the cheapest way out is probably just to build it out of whatever wood you can get a hold of. Just use 1/2"-3/4" plywood and sound should be decent. Ofcourse you need at least a jigsaw (to cut squares and cut out sub hole) and you should use a circular saw if you have it. You also need to have some silicone caulk to seal the cracks. You can get by without wood glue if you don't have any and do a good job on the cutting. But look, just build a simple box with the wood and you should be ok.
