sub wiring

Sorry for this stupid question....when wiring dual voice coil subs.do i have to make a tee in the wire like ths pic...option 2

Or can i just run the wire from positive terminal to the positive terminal on the other sub. than from that terminal to the positive on the box.

But, if you are asking if you need to physically cross the wires at a certain location; No, you don't. Just as long as the proper terminals are wired together.
