Sub Wiring question

Hi,

I have 2 audiobahn 1300hct series amps that say they can do 1200 watts x 1 when wired to one ohm.

I am looking to get new subs and want the audiobahn Eternals (because they are cheaper) but the guy at the audio store says that I can not wire them to one ohm and I need to get the Imortals (wich are alot more).

Is he telling the truth or is he just trying to make some extra $$$?

Welp dont take this as an insult but Bahn isnt good enough for the legs on my coffee table . Get ur self two RE SX's with those amps you'll be happy.
