Sub wiring Question

Okay im upgrading my subwoofer wiring becasue right now its all 12awg wiring, i just buaght 40 feet of 4awg from knuconeptz, 20feet is for my power wire, upgrading from 8awg, but anywho, the box i had is kinda difficult, doesnt allow to wire my subs together in the box, so right now i got all the wires connecting at the back of the box wiring 2 ininfty 12.1 perfects down to 2 ohms, well its gonna be hard to twist 4 gauge around and get it to stay, so i buaght ring connectors and i was wondering if it is okay if i hook 3 together like this

Sub1-----O------- Sub2 from there i would atttach one to the amp as well

and this would be happening twice for positive and negative wiring. and i would just put a bolt through all 3 rings and tightne them up, would this work or no??? too much resistance??

4ga for sub wiring is overkill, I always use 12 or 14 gauge.

Just use a drill bit and drill a hole in your sub divider (im guessing this is why you can't wire them together inside the box) and just wire them up.

hmm, yea but the box is ported down the middle, and its starts at the back for each sub and then comes around to the middle so if i was to drill a hole the wire could be seen in the port, i thought the biger the wire the better lol, so 12 is okay?

My bad, didn't realize it was ported. Yeah 12ga is perfectly fine for just wiring subs.

Good upgrade on the power wire though.

awsome thanks guys, then ill leave my subs alone then, gonan be doing big 3 upgrade soon too, i got 20 feet of 1/0 gauge that too big as well?

For the big 3 .. 1 gauge is recommended for best results . Some people have used 4 gauge and seen good results also

awsome, cuz i just had a major scare with my car, thought i killed my alt, seemed like my car wasnt getting any power one night and i couldnt drive it, but actually my tensioner pulley melted and broke and drive belt lol and this happened 1 night after pumping my subs hard, and mad light dimming lol
