Hey guys...just bought 2 G312 4 ohm single voice coil boston subs and the gta-1000m boston mono amp. Well I'm wiring them in parallel to create a 2 ohm load on the amp which would give me about 500 watts rms to each sub. I know some like to make a hole inside the box and go pos-pos/neg-neg between the subs then only have one speaker wire outside the box to the amp. I would rather to the parallel wiring outside the box and not make any holes. So I want the subs to go pos(sub)-pos(inside box connector)/neg(sub)-neg(inside box connector) inside the box in their own respective compartments then connect them in parallel outside the sub box from the external box speaker connectors...
So I'm not sure how to do this...can I use a three way speaker crimp to connect both positives from the external box connectors and the third would go to the positive of the amp? There are also three way push connectors or t taps...what's the best way to connect?
