Sub upgrade time..

Looking to upgrade my subwoofers using one of the two amps I own. I have a saz1500d and aq2200d, the space I'm working with H12*D20*W29 = 3.09 cu ft. The results I'm looking for is moderately high output/low deep bass still getting decent SQ. I been looking into many subs just based on what I hear about them. Two subs I'm looking at are the DC sounds lvl4 10" or AQ HDC3 10". Up for other suggestions. I'm not sure what a can cram into barely 3 cu ft but if it will work them I'm game. My electrical consist of a Kinetik 1800 under the hood and stock 110 amp alt no big 3 yet but it's in the works (0/1 or 0/2 awg). thanks

10's and 8's for that matter are really specialty sizes really.

I look at 10's when i am restricted to 0.5 cubic feet, not 3.......

I would honestly look at a single 15 over two 10's, you can get get a 15 in that box no prob.

(2) 10's will get really loud....don't listen to anybody who says they won't. I've seen multiple threads with people getting over 140db with (1) 10 or (2) 8s. I'm selling a 10'' bl on here. Send 1000+ to each BL and it will be loud for sure.

a couple 10s I was looking at were Soundsplinter Rl-i, Fi Q, SSA Icon, and obviously the BL. If I could go back I would have gotten something I could used sealed as well, because I couldn't fit ported the way I wanted it in my truck. I wish Mach 5 would have released the IXL10 a week earlier because I would have gotten that in a heartbeat. Check that one out.

Or look into a Audiopulse Revo or Epic 10. Both are awesome drivers!

Yeah I looked into mach 5 and not a bad price either but when I did some research on it I seen something that turned me off of it. I don't remember but I think it needed more space to get up to par with the others. Icons was on my first build list but I went with something else.
