Can someone give me the specs to build this box I want to put 2 kicker 10" comps in there.

Thanks Chris

Another solution is the new TW5 subwoofers by JL Audio. Right now they have a 12" & 13". The mounting depth is only 2.50" & only requires a .63 cu. ft. box. These drivers r designed just for trucks with tight spaces & cars like vetts,ect... Here is a pic & the link for more info http://mobile.jlaudio.com/jlaudio_pages.php?page_id=213

Also Pioneer makes a thin sub, the TS-SW3041D is the 12", these come in 10" & 12". The pioneers are a little bigger with a mounting depth of 3 1/4" for the 12" & needs a 1 cu.ft. box. The 10" drivers needs a box .7 cu. ft. I hav'ent heard the JL yet but have installed a few of the pioneers so far. We put four of the 10" pioneers in a 06 Chevy Z71 dual cab & no one could believe how good they sounded! They were rocking that truck & sound quality was excellent! So I still haven't gotten around to adding subs to my truck yet. I've pretty much decided on going with a dual 10" box from supercrewsound. I've looked around for my options on shallow subs that have less than 5.25" mounting depth. So far the only options that I have found are these:

Image Dynamics IDQ10D4 v.2

Elemental Designs 11Kv.3

Alpine SWS-1023D

Kicker CompVT 07CVT102

Pioneer TS-SW2541D

Rockford Fosgate P3SD210

I was leaning towards the Elemental Designs and matching 2 of the 11Kv.3s with a NINe.2X, but have read mixed reviews about the company. I still have a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X811D to use if possible or I can sell it and get something a bit smaller. My goal is more SQ than SPL; about 70% SQ and 30% SPL. I would also like to keep the total cost for amp & 2 10"s under $500.

Please let me know your thoughts!

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
