Sub recommendations

Budget- $250

Needed SQL sub (either 10" or 12") that can play low and loud (but clean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) enough in a maximum ported enclosure of 1.25^3. I would like to port the enclosure as low as possible.

Sub needs to have dual, 4-ohm coils. Amp will be a Boston Acoustics GT-22 (500 rms x 2-ohm mono load).

Good luck with that. Only thing close are the old RL-i8's.

You will not be able to squeeze a 12 in that space ported. Is it 1.25^3 total space available? Because the port is going to take up space also FYI.
