sub Q's

i have a few Q's about subwoofers

1. does two 500 RMSwatt 4 oms= 1000 watt 8 oms needed for amp ?

2. do i need a head unit with sub outs or can i tap a back speaker

3. does a 500watt duel coil sub mean combined there 1000 watts

be nice ive wired subs b4 but never got these Q's answered by anyone

1= 1000 watts at 2 ohms

2= u need basically a rca connection from your radio to an amp(though there are ways around it)

3= no

The questions u are asking leads me to believe you need to do lots of research into car audio.

I have absolutely no idea what you just said... But 2 Single 4ohm woofers can be wired to 2ohms or 8ohms, thats the only part i kinda understood.
