Sub Placement

Thanks guys! Btw will it hurt anything if I leave a couple exta feet of speaker going to the sub so I can do some experimenting myself?

I Have a Ford F250 extended cab and i run a 12in sub in a 3 cubic ft box on my back seat sub and port facing forward port on the passenger side and i like to keep the sub in the middle of the back seat but if i have too it goes behind me on the driver side
