sub in box

any reason i souldnt mount my sub to the baffle befor i put the baffle on, because its upright and seems like it will be hard to put it in the hole after its on

What do you mean by baffle? Make the box... mount the sub... install in vehicle.

I do not see a reason why you would need/want to have the sub installed prior to having the enclosure finished.
