i am now running a rft212d4, in a 2ft box ported 33hrtz, takes up alot of space in the hatch. recently purchased two tens hoping for a smaller ported box, now i am thinking about the sundown sa-8d2. will these work? will i be able to put them in a box tuned to 30-32hrtz? thanx guys. i will probably put them on one of the new apsm2000 on a 4ohm load.

2 8 inch will give you more cone area than 1 12 T2, you probably dont need apsm 2000, the apsm 1500 should work fine
Actually one 12 is still more cone area than two 8s

One 12 is about 112 inch²

Two 8s are about 96 inch²

will i be able to tune the box that low for the two 8's? i would like to keep it low.
Yes you can.

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
