Sub for a small car.. Scion Xa

So right now I have a TC epic 10 in a custom box tuned to 28. The box is HUGE, and drops very low and sounds amazing being pushed off my hifonics at 750rms. Problem is, the box takes up my ENTIRE trunk, my car is small. The box is as high as my rear deck. My girl wants a sub now so I think I am going to give this to her as she has a bigger car.

The TC Epic 10 hits deep with the SQ I want, but I would say its a little powerful for my car being a hatchback with no sealed trunk (Its a custom built rear deck with vents in it).

I am looking for a more SQ sub, I listen to country a lot. I want something that would hit deep and nice, musical wise. The smaller the box, the better but I don't want a shallow mount sub. I am willing to consider an 8in, 10in, dual 8's. I'm looking for maybe 500rms.

Opinions? 1 SA-8 v2 ported? 2 TC Epic 8s sealed? etc. Im not to smart with car audio, i try to learn but look to you guys. I want deep, rich bass, the best I can get for a smaller enclosure.
