I have a 1200X audiobahn that needs to be fixxed. The VC separated fromt he basket, and i need to know the best kind of glue to use, that will hold tightly to the aluminum.

It was by no meens the subs fault, i had it in a 2Q Ft box and ran a 1600W max amp to it (Gain and Bass boost all the way up). It ran like this for about a month and a half till this weekend it finally screwed up on a heavy bass song, which i listen to all the time. I was surprised that there was no damage at all to the VC, it just needs to be held back down some how.

If you don't know of the materials you'd need to fix a sub, I'd venture a guess that you're not qualified to be doing the fixing in the first place. No offense, bud. I'd use your warranty (if you still have it) and take/send that puppy back. If no warranty, I'm sure a local car audio store will look at it and help you out. If neither of those work for ya, Super Glue works **** well. Sure as hell sticks your fingers together //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hope it helps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
