sub enclosure size

ok guys, i just orderd an RE re 12" and want to know what size enclosure to put it in. its gonna be sealed and i want it to have some good low end. i was thinking maybe 2-2.5 ft3, is this too big/small for what a i want?

Im not the smartest when it comes to this stuff but isn't that really big for a sealed box for one 12?

ya your right i was lookin at the SE reccomended enclosure, but for the RE its like 1 to 1.5, but i want really good low bass response. should i got ported down to like 28 hz or stay with sealed?
