I recently bought two Rockford fosgate p3 12's and a Rockford 1000 watt amp and I'm not pleased with the sound i think its the way the box was made

And I guess most important, what kind of sound are you looking for??

You wouldn't believe how much an eq will change the sound and loudness without changing the box

Sounds like you have horrible settings or the eq is just a bandaid for the system.

yeah, prefab is never ear ***. Possibly need to let the subs break in if they're brand new. Or get a mad scientist to build you a real good box.

I have a custom band pass box, the main problem is I have a single cab truck and I wanted some good bass, it sounds pretty good now that they are broke in plus the eq made it way better.
