Hello,

I purchased this box the other day and was wondering if it was ok for my 15" Kicker cvr, the 07 model. This will be the only sub in the car.

Also, are the audiopipe 60 amp fuses ok for 8 gauge power wire?

Should be okay. 1.8 is the Kicker minimum recommended sealed box. I'd throw in about 25-33% volume of loose polyfill for good measure.

Do you mind telling me what that is? Help please. lol im a newb and can you answer the fuse question for me? I have an 80 amp fuse in right now but I dont know if its to big or not?

Polyfill is polyester filling... the stuff you can buy at arts and craft stores or even walmart in the fabrics and crafts department for about a buck or two per pound. Here's a basic explanation for use.

As for the fuse question, I'd personally go with 4 gauge for a 60A circuit.

Is it ok that I am using 8 guage. I had the shop install it and Id hate to spend even more money just to have a new wire run through. As for the fuse, would it be dangerous to use an 80 amp fuse or should i just run 60 amp? I will be keeping the 8 guage, the shop said it was fine.

sony xplod 1000 watt amp. Its got 3 25 amp fuses on it.

If you use the 60 amp fuse, it might blow on ya but, that might be a good thing because like said earlier 4 gauge would be much safer. So either run the 60 amp and it might blow one day (safe but a pain) or run the 80 amp and risk a fire or do it the right way and run 4gauge wire..

Don't listen to this guy. If you have a 8gauge already and are dead set on not running 4ga then run the 60a fuse.
