sub box question

i recently finished a custom fiberglass/mdf box for the rear deck of my '03 elantra to house one RE 8". i figured feeding it 150w rms should sound pretty decent, but wehn it was all said and done, it really isnt as loud(sql and spl) as it like it to be, so my question is would putting another 8 in the box like in my cheesy drawing work.

i want to keep the size of the box to a minumum, so i can have trunk space.

btw, their in a sealed enclosure.

if your wondering, heres pics of the enclosure wehn i was working on installing it

one more thing, i know re's are good subs, but who else has punchy 8" subs that wil fit into a .25 cuft sealed enclosure.

FUUUUCK U ASSSHOOLE, THATS NOT THE RESPONSE I WANTED, I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HELPFUL MESSAGE BAORD, BUT INSTEAD YOUR ALL PRICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whoa, slow down there scooter. First off, you THOUGHT this is a helpful message board, and it can be if you search and do a lil more description of your problem. Then again some ppl really are assholes. But about your problem, so youre thinking about amping that second speaker or making it an active/passive setup? Passive setups can be really good if you know what youre doing. Personally i dont, but i know that nissan has done some passive setups and stuff in their cars long ago. I dont know enough about active/passive setups to be of much use, but try looking into it.

BTW, pimp execution of the box in the rear deck.

dude, im cool. i just wanted to see what it would take to get a response, considering this thread is 4 days old as was on the fourth page already!! it was heading nowhere!! anyway, i found the error of my ways, seams that re audio just updated their website, AND their specs for their 8" sub, being their new spec says it should be in a box .35 cubic feet, their old spec said .217 cf, so i altered the box, and VOILA, it hits HARD for an 8", im loving it! now i have to remake the box again, out of fresh material, then itll be P.I.M.P!
