Adire Koda 12" Vs AA Arsenal 10" (yea another one)

Simple Question.

Which should I get?

The Koda is more money, but the Arsenal would require a new amp..

Existing amp is 600x1 @ 4 ohms, so if I wired the Koda D4 to 8 ohms the amp should put out 300 watts correct?

I'm comparing the 10" to 12" becaause I can fit a koda 12" or Arsenal 10" but I can't fit the Arsenal 12" due to mounting depth restrictions.

The koda 12" has 5.5 inches of mounting depth

Xmax of 18mm

300 watts RMS

Arsenal has

Xmax of 20mm

750 watts RMS

400 watts Rec?

Box should be around .75 cuft

BTW, neither of these subs is going to be reviewed in the shootout so I figured I may as well ask now. I'm looking to send out money tomarrow!

When I'm listing one way linear X-max is that peak to peak? Is the Koda really 36mm ptp and and Arsenal 40?

If the Arsenal + Amp would be less than the Koda, I would go that route. But if it wold be more, I'd just get the Koda. I loved the old Koda's.

Thanks PunkORama, I called Asscendant audio and they were sold out on the Arsenal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif They said they could not give me an exact date on when they would be getting more either.

So I picked up an Assassin instead //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif only $89 shipped FTW (they old had 2 left, now they only have 1! ). The koda might be in slightly too small of a box and the 10" kodas are not out yet. If I'm not happy with the Assassin I can try to get a 10" koda in the future or maybe the Arsenal (depending on if I can even fit this assasin), I might have to glass a bitfor downfire... for $89 I coulden't pass it up!

I plan to run it off my exisitng amp since it is 4 ohms, and maybe feed it up to 500 watts since the box will be so small...

I feed my Assassin 10 500 watts daily and it pounds pretty strong for a single sealed 10.
