so that says...yes there is shit worth stealing in here, but if u try it my alarm system will ***** slap u so hard that ur ansestors will feel it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
an alarm isnt gonna stop any good theive. all they do is draw attention, but if they want it bad enough they will get out. my buddy had his stuff ran and he has an alarm. i have an alarm too, they are reassuring to have but once again if they want it bad enough they will get it out

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Just an idea, so you don't have to go driving around town with the stickers in your windows all the time...

I really like the idea of using those metal stips...seems like it would be alot easier to work with then dowels and hot glue. Probably alot sturdier and reassuring when you lay the fleece.
Actually, the metal strips make the rings really flexible, allowing exact placement of where you want them. They are strong enough to hold the rings in place, but will move when you push on them.

So after they are in the right spot, then it's easier to work with the dowel rods and hot glue, because you don't have to worry about holding the ring up while you are waiting for the glue to harden.... just cut the dowel to the right length, put on the glue, and you're set!

Now they are secured with the dowel rods, and are hard as a rock! There will definitely be no flexing while I'm stretching the fleece!

Are you sure just one litlle 3"? or 4"? port is going to be enough. Otherwise it looks great.
With the size of the box and the power that the sub will be seeing, I think the single 4" port will be sufficient.

Looking sexy my brother. Can't wait to see the finished product. The logo should really set it off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'd really hate to see you not get the full performance out of your very potent setup. I have had a 500/1 on two Type-R 12's and it pushed them to their max. With all that power on just one it should be killer. I have expirimented with about 6 or 7 boxes between both of my Type-R 12's eventually selling one setup, Now I only have one of them. If its going to look good why not have it sound its best? Two or even three of those 4" ports would be a much better match if you want the best performance without port noise.

yes, we have taken that into consideration and have decided on only a single 4" port, the way it is designed it should sound fine, and for being my first system ever it will fit my needs to a greater extent that what i ever anticipated:)
