Sub Box HELP

My son and I are going to build a ported sub box for his two 15" subs. The subs are 250 rms with 900 watt max. We are using a sony 1000 watt amp at 250 rms. What kind of box dimensions do we need? This is going behind the seat of a 1978 full size dodge pickup. the most we have to work with is 16" at the bottom with 40" width and 20" high. Help. What size sealed box would we need if we need room??? We are running ATX 15's

ahhhh thats gonna be kinda tight for a ported box, aspicaly for two 15s. you could propbaly run 1 sub ported. there around 4.3 cu ft in a 12X40X20 box. also what subs are these

what would you suggest?? Ported or sealed
