im have a problem with bass. its a maw12 on a pyle dryver p13, 600 watts bridged, 350watt rms for the sub. the bass is amazing, but it gets low.. like its not getting any power, then the bass will come back full swing.. then get low again. it doesnt cut out, just loses its "umpf" if u know what i mean. know of any reasons? something i can check out?

its a sealed prefab, i havent built my new box yet. but what happens is it sounds like it loses alot of power. i dont mean some notes hit harder, obviously they all sound differently. what i mean is, it loses power it feels like. the sound drops incredibly low. u can still hear it, but its not nearly half as loud. then itll come back on full power, then cut back down again. only way i can explain it

Sounds to me like one of your RCAs is loose.

your electrical system is not keeping up with the stereos demands. u need new alt or an extra battery, you get dimming also?

rcas are tightly connected. no lights dimming. maybe a wiring issue? from inside the box on the terminal it gos posotive to posotive, negative to negative on one voice coil. then from that voice coil i have 2 more wires, one running posotive to posotive, negative to negative to the other voice coil

Youre not giving even close to that to the sub. Not even close. You said it is run in parallel, correct? So in order to run in parallel you had to bridge it down to be a one channel amp, correct? Using the + on one side and the - on the other. Or do you have each coil on its own channel? BTW, its a pyle. There good for not much more than a paperweight. I would be willing to bet youre not sending but maybe 200w to it on a good day.
