Sub Amp(s) Recommendations

OK, here's what I'm working with ...

* Under the seats enclosure for a Nissan Titan

* A pair of 10 inch Kickers CompVX Series 4ohms DVC (600W RMS/1200W Peak)

I need help in choosing which amp to buy. I want one that will work best with these subs. Here are my questions.

1 - Mono Block 1 channel amp or Stereo 2 channel amp? What works best?

2 - Here's what I got in mind: ZX-1000.1 or the ZX-1500.1 Is this enough?

I dont know anything about bridging or how the ZX-1000.1 at 2ohms will work with 4ohms speakers. Does that mean that the 1000 peak watts will turn into 500 peak watts at 4ohms?

What amp do you guys recommend, and how would you connect it all for best quality? Thanx in advance.

latinplaya22 ... your link shows me a 1200W mono block. That would mean that each spkr wouldn't get more that 600W. These spkrs are 1200W peak. I think I can use more watts to get the best out of the them.

DON'T GO OFF THE PEAK RATINGS!!! You're subs are rated at 600rms a piece(600rms x2 =1200RMS) Wire up the subs in parallel to give you a 1ohm load. The SUNDOWN AMP i linked does 1200rms@1ohm it's a perfect match.

He would need dual 2ohm woofers, he's got dual4's.

I've got an ed nine.1 amp for sale, rated 1200watts @ 12.5 volts, you'd be running 14volts (give or take 2/10 or so). So you would see more than the 1200. lmk if interested
