Barely cut into the sheath and pull the cover off.
Same thing on 0 gauge.
And to crimp 0 gauge you use a hammer and an anvil if you can't lay it on concrete
Last time I bought 0 gauge the guy at the welding store was like "Dang, this stuff is horrible to work with, it take like 20 tries to cut it!"
I laughed and told him with my cutter at home I can cut 0 gauge 1 handed.
And I hammer my terminals on the concrete, sometimes with a chisel to kinda notch the terminal
