Simple question. I'm pretty sure the answer is yes... you'd just wire it like you would two subwoofers. Or I could be completely wrong.. which is why I'm asking... just to make sure...
True I just figured if he was trying it most likely the amp had a all-pass or low pass filter off optionDepends if the mono has a full range option. Most mono amps only "support" about 15hz to 200hz and anything above it doesn't handle, if that's the case then you can't use it. A sub specific amp generally won't work with speakers.
It'll "handle" it. There's just a lot of high frequency distortion so anything above mid-bass sounds terrible.Depends if the mono has a full range option. xtant 1.1 amps are class d, and they sounded just fine. they are also monoblock.why would you run class D on your highs anyhow. Even if you can get full range it will sound like poo poo. I have some two ch amps that will do 200 rms. Hit me up, 100 shipped for two kicker 150.2s do 220 rms on birthsheet.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they stop making them? They were pretty cool.xtant 1.1 amps are class d, and they sounded just fine. they are also monoblock.
im not sure tbh. i wish i had a couple. my crossovers are larger than that amp.Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they stop making them? They were pretty cool.
I have a class D comp amp. No poo poo.why would you run class D on your highs anyhow. Even if you can get full range it will sound like poo poo. I have some two ch amps that will do 200 rms. Hit me up, 100 shipped for two kicker 150.2s do 220 rms on birthsheet.
So if my pioneer class d gm-d7500m amp has a lpf on it i can use it on my 5 1/4 door speakers in my 2000 Honda Accord.my amp has gain,0.6.12.bass boost, and lpf on off switch and lpf adjustable dial that varies from 40hz to 240 hz .i wouldn't mind if i could i would like to push 2 6×9 in my back deck and my 2 5 1/4 door speakers on this amp if i could until i can afford a decent 4 channel amplifierAccording to JL JL Audio 500/1v2 Amplifiers - Car Audio Amps & Amplifiers, no. It requires a LPF so powering all speakers is a no-go. Toss it on the classifieds and trade it for a 4 channel or something if you want to power some speakers.
if you don't mind having no stereo separation AND had a good way to high pass filter so that you don't destroy your speakers you could run everything off of something like that.So if my pioneer class d gm-d7500m amp has a lpf on it i can use it on my 5 1/4 door speakers in my 2000 Honda Accord.my amp has gain,0.6.12.bass boost, and lpf on off switch and lpf adjustable dial that varies from 40hz to 240 hz .i wouldn't mind if i could i would like to push 2 6×9 in my back deck and my 2 5 1/4 door speakers on this amp if i could until i can afford a decent 4 channel amplifier
