Stupid Amp

Hi guys, i just bought a Audiobahn A8002T, is this a good amp, has anyone had any experience with it? well, anyway, my question is, when i hook up the ground and power wire, WITHOUT the remote wire, the amp turns on! well, actually, its not ON, the fan is on and the lights are on. But the POWER LED, comes on only when the remote wire is activated, so basically, the amp is on all the time, even without ignition, or any remote wire.....whats the deal with this???!?!? can i fix it?

how are you running you main power wire??

im running the power wire to the battery, directly, with a fuse, could it be the fuse? cause i have a 30 amp in there, and the amp is a 60amp rating on it???

your power wire is probably too small, but that wouldn't cause this problem. try hooking up your ground, then your remote, then your power. make sure there aren't ANY tiny little wire strands touching the remote terminal or it will cause the amp to power up.

well if it's like the jbl's it turns on when your stereo leads have music going to them..
