So today i bought a little amp/sub combo localy for 50$ (temp hold over)

Since i have the Sync and a OEM head unit i was going to just run my high inputs into the amp.

well.... i just noticed my car has no backspeakers to run from. I cannot find the wire harness for the head unit. Seems like the only way to connect the high input is through the doors, which im really confused on how to do that because the rubber it runs through from door to car is VERY thin to even try to squeez anything through.

What would you guys reccomend?

also maybe a amp that has 1 sub out and 2 speaker outs? i could put some speakers in the back with it. Nothing too powerfull since i have a basic 8guage power.

Ummm... the harness should be connected to the stock HU? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

And the doors spit out the wires into the car where the boot ends. Pull the door panel off, find the speaker wire colors, pull the trim off inside the car in the rubber boot area, and find the right colors //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just did this to tap into stock wiring to get through the doors.

well i do enjoy my car though they make it **** near impossible to run anything to it.

45mpg=win

the car is too new, i cant find much on it. when i google 2011 ford focus wireharness i get every year but mine

Spoke to a few audio shops around here, they all qouted me 150$ dollars to install just the amp kit and thats it. Really needed help here if any one has some website that could direct me in the right location.

this, still. the hu should have a remote output, but if you don't feel comfortable finding the right wire by testing, you can do all the hard stuff, and see what they charge just to connect the wire to the hu.

yes, you would have to splice into a remote wire from the rear of the head unit. the problem is, with all the new "smart" databuss features, you could possibly get the wrong wire. i haven't dealt with yours, but most newer head units i've seen have always had an output to turn peripherals on. if you want to install an aftermarket head, that's another story, where you really want a harness adapter, and/or module possibly. just tapping a high level signal off the door speakers is your safest bet right now, imho. you just don't have to run wires all the way into your doors. a shop could find the correct wire, and if they tap the wrong wire, everything is covered by them to make it right.

Ok I got it, found a shop that has this piece that you connect to the speaker, it connects to the rca on the amp and also send a signal for the remote when the speaker is turned on. Now another problem. The boot from door to car is a massive plug. Man this car its just screaming SPLICE ME, KILL THE WARRENTY!

Ok, do i finally got my door panel off despite the 3 different types of screws for a single door...

To take off the door

(1)You need to use phillips head on 2 locations left side of the door and underneath

(2)Use a startip bit like the CR-vt30 head i used. Now on the handle pop off the face of the handle (looks solid but its just a covor) and you will find 2 screws with the CR-vt30 screw holes.

(3) pull out the switch for the window on the handle then detach it.

(4) Now where the levor is, You will see it looks like 1 solid peice. Look very closely into the latch peice you will notice that its 1 big covor in the back and can see the seperation from the housing/covor plate. that slides right out (after you use a thin flathead) Once again use the CR-vt30head and remove it.

(5)Feel along the edges Till you find a "loose" spot that will allow you to fit your fingers in to pop off the door!

(6) detach the levor wire(looks almost like a brake cable from a bike) it slides right out.

(7) To remove the speaker from the door its a 6MM socket. 4 screws and BAM exposed!

For the back left door i found its purple /w white line and purple /w blue line.

Nowhere on the speaker did it show +/-.

Any one know of a website that i can find the wire diagram? when i followed the wires to the front they split off in different directions which confused the hell out of me.

The speakers in my wifes Fusion did not show positve or negative either. Unhook the speakers, ground a test light somewhere on the body, turn the radio on and test the wires and see which one strobes the light on the test light. Will "pulse" to the music on the positive wire.
