Stuffing woofer box

What is the proper way tyo stuff a box with polyfill? I've heard that you should use 1-1.5lbs of fill for every cubic foot so I bought 3 pounds at walmart the other day. Can anyone offer me any suggestions? Just stuffing it in there doesn't seem like it would be the best idea because it could block the port and/or get tangled in the voice coils. Any suggestions?

I used wood glue but that crap is so **** fluffy I only got like a half a poun in there and it was like overload.

I just stretched it out and threw it in there...no issues.

I see, was your box like stuffed to the max though? I tried to keep it so there was an area in the middle big enough for the magnet, so I kept it glued to the side walls and thats why I could only get about a 1/2lb in there.

I just bought two polyester filled pillows and threw them in my box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Cost 6 bucks instead of about 30.

It makes it seem as though the sub is in a larger box then its really in. The stuff in sheets is easier to deal with because you can glue or staple it.
