WTF? How ya'll say he deserves this?? Reporters do this to public figures all the time, they don't get asked to leave or especially tasered. Even if ya'll are right about all the rules he broke (which who the hell determined what the rules were? Were any of you actually there and got a rulebook for the event????) He had like 6 cops on him and they still had to taser him. It's just like at my house. I will ask my kids nicely to do something once, maybe twice --- after that I tase their *****.

You tase him if he seriously poses a threat and if you can't get him in handcuffs your self, I see people get forced into handcuffs on cops twice that kids size and they don't get tased and only 2 cops do it. He did not pose a threat at all.

He also wasn't allowing himself to be handcuffed. IMO, if you resist the police at all, regardless of your "threat level" your asking to be tazed. I've been in martial arts most of my life, the kids that can do the most damage are impossible to spot. Shoot assuming I went nuts I'd be the same way as the kid in the video for a second. Lightly resist like a normal human before I finally got angry enough to counter. It isn't hard could easily drop any untrained adult, especially a cop, who won't be fighting full force to start with. If someones already messing with my hands breaking an arm or wrist would take no time at all.

Anyway, tThey spent 30 seconds ****ing around with him on the ground which in itself is dangerous. You've got a better chance to really hurt someone by trying to put their arms in a compromised position behind their back assuming they are really trying to resist you. Tazing doesn't do lasting damage, but it will stop him from hurting himself or others. Just the inherent risk of restraining to himself was probably worth it.

Point being, they shouldn't have to guess who's a threat or not. The fact is a big guy or a small guy can both do alot of damage very quickly if either knows what they are doing. The small guy perhaps even more so as they appear to be less of a threat until it's too late. Cops shouldn't have to guess, if the person is acting like a threat, they get what they deserve. They don't have to play games, it's their life on the line for just doing their **** job.

Tasing sounds bad -- but it is actually safer for everyone than wrestling on the ground. Besides, it was funny as hell to hear him scream like a little girl.

Well then, the cops handled the situation very unprofessionally. They just kinda sat there on the floor and played with him for like 5 minutes. If this was the situation they were trying to avoid by using the tasers, then they really **** at their job.

Exactly, tasers are non-lethal means for the officers. So if one of them broke their hand Im sure 727 kid would say "thats part of their job"

Simple. There are rules. You ignore the rules, you get asked to leave. You make a scene, you get asked to leave. You refuse to leave, you get ejected... this time by police. You fight the police, you get arrested.
How many times did they warn this kid that he was going to be tazed?

I've seen this shit 100 times with crackheads who fight the police and then whine that they didn't "do anything".

Watching the video the police did NOTHING wrong. He didn't follow the rules, didn't listen when he was asked to sit, didn't leave when asked to leave, didn't stop fighting when he was being arrested.
