Don't know if this is the right section to post this but my friend has a stuck CD in her 2001 Mustang. It doesnt move or even attempt to eject, and the display screen says "No CD" while trying to do anything, but there is actually a CD in there. So far I've tried:
1) taking tweezers and pushing up on the CD until its level.
2) Removing the positive terminal clamp from the battery, hoping that would reset all electric systems.
She still has the factory head unit and I really don't want to take it apart because with Ford's there are no gurantees it'll work again. Worst case scenerio I will do that and just buy her and install an aftermarket cd player but I wanted to look at other options first. Any ideas?
Also, Ive never worked on a Ford before and if I was to remove her stock head unit, how would I do that?
