Alright i have a dilemma wheter or not to get one mt 15 or 18 or 2 12 inch sxs i havent had any experience with REs but from what i hear is that they are really good. I am going for spl but trying to keep some sound quality i have a ton of room to mess with as it will be going in the back of a mounaineer and i will most likely be powering this by a orion 2500d..What do you people think..Which will be louder but still retain good sound quality.

I would go with the 18".

I am not at all insulted I dont know if i am ready too. The sxs wouldnt be that bad to dive into would they?

the sxs dont slack either...they pound pretty darn loud....try these first before mt..unless u want a REALLY LOUD system...

nah its like any other amp, just alot more powerful...hows ur electrical system? u could even go with 1 15sx duel 1 ohm and listen to just one....if u want more just grab another one and wire em down to 1 ohm and hook em up to the orion and booooom,,,,that shit will shake ur brain

do the big 3 first out of everything and see where ur at from there

Yes the big3 helps. I had all factory electrical on my system for months. It was killing my lights and everything. I did the big3 and it helped some. Didnt solve it completley, but was better. I would do the altenator like you are saying and the big3 too it, then get a dry cell for the back. Then look into getting that MT if you want to impress for a single sub. I would do the xxx's over the sx's. Seem to be a better mix for sq'spl. The sx's just seem to get loud. Good luck!
