Strong Midbass speakers?

why be scared?

Because I blew up 2 voice coils with my current audiobahn amp on a set of 90 RMS Blaupunkt speakers, although I suspect faulty equipment to begin with.

And yes, I'm buying the 200.4 so I have as much headroom to tune to whatever RMS I want, but with that Amplifiers efficiency, why not try to use it all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Also, sorry to hear about the accident, hope you get it straightened out.

What did you like about the Focals over the Polks? Midbass or higher frequency? Unfortunately, I can't find any decent audio shops around here and the only good one I know closed a year ago. So I get to listen to none of the upper end stuff like Focal, Seas, Rainbow, Arc, Diamond, etc....

Anyways, 7 inches is too much for me to mod into the rear doors. I want to stay 6.5 or less. I have my rear door already modded to fit 5.25" from 4", 6.5" is going to even be a stretch, but me and Dremmel says "let's do this"

I guess they just sounded clearer. I could hear the different ranges of sound. The polks kinda sounded like one frequency or something. Do you have any tweeter stores near you? Thats where I went, I was suprised by their selection.

My Tweeter houses the Polks, Pioneers and Kicker in one room, and the Focals, BA's, and JL stuff in a different room. They have nice high end stuff, but because I have to walk between the two, it is harder to make a very accurate setup.

The 'cheaper' room has a much larger selection of amps, and head units to play with, and has the HU I have and an amp comparable (sort of) to mine, so I based my opinions off of the stuff in that room.

The higher end stuff is in a different room, with other higher end stuff, and they only had 1 selectable amp. The head units were 500$ plus.

I really wish they didn't separate it, because if they had it all together, people like me who are budget minded could listen to them altogether and hear the difference, and then we might just save up for the better set //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The SR sub in that high end room is weird though, really soft feeling, even the cone.
