strong enough design?

I am no longer interested in a ported box as both of them have not performed as well as I would like. I have decided to build a sealed box given that this would work/the mdf is stong enough. The box will be built to where the outer edge of each sub [10" l7] is touching the next. This will leave about 1.2 inches of wood between each sub. Due to this I am worried about the box not having enough strength so at each one of those 1.2" sections I would add a brace which would create a single chamer for each sub which comes out to 1.13 cubes before displacement. Do you guys think the braces would provide enough strength to where the side the subs are mounted on doesnt flex? Autocad drawings are below. First pic is of the box w/ braces, second is braces with mounting holes, third would be braces with the sub mounted.

Double the baffle. You could also stagger the subs (first one low on the box, second one higher, third even with the first, ets...) so the adjacent holes dont line up and the narrow section between the cutouts is a short as possible. I'd do either of those before trying to mess with 1/2" dividers.

Double baffle..not a problem as I would have to buy one more piece of wood anyways. As for the staggering im wondering why you would take that over the braces? Less time, less wood, less work, etc? It its a good idea and I did consider it but the problem is the box is going in an extended cab truck so im trying to keep the height down as much as I can. Unless I were to just stagger them up/down by two-three inches or so.

A 2-3 in stagger would help. Another thing you could do is add horzontal braces the length of the box that are about 3-4" tall, right along the mounting cutouts in addition to doubleing the baffle. If you kept the box fairly short, the top and bottom would brace the baffle pretty well. If you still want to brace it the way you originally mentioned, double the baffle as well and don't make the braces full depth. 4" deep glued and screwed to the top, bottom and baffle should suffice.
