Stroker in a sealed box

I don't mean to be blunt (again), but if you purchase a stroker and don't end up with 100% musical accuracy with classical material, don't post the sub-par results here. If you're looking for a good sounding sub that can get pretty darned loud, there are plenty out there. However, looking for "SQ" at 150 dB with a single driver isn't going to happen...especially a Stroker.

I understand if you want your system to be loud, but there are plenty of "SQL" drivers out there that can do the job for you better than a Stoker can. If not a single driver, multiple drivers can make up for their lack in output.

Just a thought.

Exactly! As I said before, there are PLENTY of drivers out there that can do 140+ dB while retaining stellar SQ (for most people's frame of reference). And if they can't do that with a single driver, multiple drivers can accomplish the goal. I still swear that 90% of people on here don't really know what 150 dB feels like. Maybe I'm way off base, but when I had twin 12" Mag's in my Integra I had people wondering what the hell was going on b/c they didn't believe that I had two sealed 12's in the back. It's all about your frame of reference.

Just as Hoss...he's the most shiftless one of the bunch. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
