What track where you running at where they allowed a 9 second car to make a pass without a cage? Here if its faster than a 11.99 you have to have a cage or your not making a pass.

There are some tracks that are VERY leinent, or just dont give a damn. My cousin took an low 9s car down the 1/4 with shorts and tennis shoes in Texas.

Does it matter? Its a Focus. Its worthless weather it runs or not. Should have pushed 30psi and put a piston through the block. Atleast you could gut the car and get some money for the copper wiring.

Those heads are nice. We used a lot of AFR's mainly. Yates heads are probably the best we used. Sadly they are at the least $3000 a pair bare.

My buddy is almost done with his 04' mach. Got a rebuilt short block form modular mustang capable of 1200 hp. Running a F1 with methanol injection and a 200 shot. all it needs is a tune and ready to ride. They are just a little pricey though. I went with the TFS heads so I had plenty of room to hog them out if I ever went bigger.

Thats exactly why I said it would put a piston through the block. The SC would be absolutely destroyed along with the rest of the engine.
