Street A amp? For Decent Price?

How concerned are you with warranty ? If not at all look at the bigger used amps.

In these street classes with the high voltage drop it is not uncommon to tear up an amp - with our warranty you can get a replacement pretty cheap if you do break one. Do that once and you made up the price difference.

Yea but sundown doesnt make a big enough amp for street a. At 12volts i bett that sundown would be lucky to put out 3000watts. However im still considering getting a 3500D because it would be great daily and still do ok at comps, but only local.

Ask Ray Farmer and Terry Brocks about it - the SAZ-3000D was extremely close to Terry's Cyclops and the 3500D will do more than the 3000D.

Yea, efficient like a Cactus 5k-7k, DDz1a, Stetsom 7kd/4k2d, All of which can be found used for around 700-1000
Any of those will work, the key is getting the most from a 650 cubic inch battery. The top North American competitors are making in the neighborhood of 5k on a single battery. Just some food for thought.

no offence to the other amplifiers, there is only a selct few amps that

are really the choice to have in Street A.

Bottom line is, if you're looking to go full force in Street A then you'll need to go with a 7K + amplifier... no ifs and or butts... However that is also dependant on how serious you are about competing.

well i would be happy with your Z1a. You still got it?

Also, sundownz, I would take a 3500D if you can do a trade in for my IA 20.1. And ad whatever cash is needed. I can deal with a loud Daily Driver for another year i guess. I might go to a few comps, but truth be told, i have a shit car for comps. Nor do i have 1200 to buy a big amp.

Dont have a Z1a.. you probably have me mixed up with someone else //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I've got some other bigger amps (much bigger)

But you yourself already answered your question with the comment about being more of a loud daily driver than anything else and going to a few comps... Since that is the case I'd reccomend working within your budget then bro.

To compete on a serious level in Street A will take certain gear.

Work with what you got and what your budget allows for now and go from there later on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

you also must remember that street c is a whole different world from street a.

2 batteries and 4 amps are allowed. Street a is only one battery and one amp.

One on one the 3000d wouldn't compare to something in the 5-7kw range for obvious reasons. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
