Hi everybody, I know "x" or "y" is beating a dead horse but I have to ask, I don't want to buy a sub and living thinking the other one could be better, because I´ve promised my self don't spend more money in these stuff, I have 2 adolecent kids and they are my priority.
I'm looking for a budget SQ 10" sub, I listen all kinds of music, well almost, I have a custom made enclosure, it is about 0.5 ft3, I say about because it is shaped into a Golf MK2 trunk so it is kind of complicated calculate it and I can't swap it because I need as much as possible cargo area, I almost buy a Sundown E-10D2 but then I saw everybody talking about this new kid on the block, the Strato-10D2, I've seen it has guts but I wonder which one has a better SQ.
I know there are better options but this is all I can spend, so after lots of research these are the 2 finalist, please help me to pick up the best.
If you need a background, I have this:
Eclipse CD5100 HU (5v)
Hertz DSK 165.3 comps
NXS Audiomobile NXD 125.4 amp for comps
DLS RA10 amp for sub (rated at 780w at 1 ohm)
currently I have a Eclipse 86100 sub but it is only 150w RMS and it seems to be very unefficient.
