Strapping Amp/TST

hey

i been considering getting another amp for my HD315... probably going with another Sound Stream Amp, PCA1000D or maybe even another PCA1500D... so i will be giving my subwoofer 2500-3000wRMS. I currently have a PCA1500D... so my questions are: how would i wire the subwoofer? what would the impendence be? I know Sound Stream amps are strapable (they have Twin Stack Techology), but do i have to use another Sound Stream amp with my current Sound Stream amp, or can i use a different brand of amplifier that is also strapable (i want to try out some new amps)? what exactly does Twin Stack Technology do? Are there any other amps that offer TST? Do i need another remote turn on wire? and would i have to have 2 remote bass boost control knobs?
