Strange subwoofer findings?

After a while of researching thru audio information and purchasing some new subs to test (Got my ssa evil 15) i decided to continue building and optimizing my current truck setup (i want to get it setup before making real changes to a true setup) starting by using new wires in my sub box and out.

So i removed the sub out of my box and started doing the normal cutting wires and such then tested my coils ohms just to re make sure i did everything correct and i found something odd.

The sub is a HCCA 12d Dual 2 ohm, After reading the first set of terminals i got an odd 3.6-3.8.

So i just blew it off as being my DMM acting funny and tested the 2nd set of terminals on the sub and lo and behold i got no reading.

I am just taking a guess, but i think i blew one of my voice coils //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif and the other coil seems to be getting more of the ohm power then usual //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Is this even possible to have one coil reading 1 ohm more then supposed to? Even tho the sticker on the motor shows dual 2 ohm.

Dont forget the sub still bumps pretty good not as it should, but does bump hard.

Is the woofer needing replacement or getting rid of? (Please dear god if it needs getting rid of someone offer me a price and out it will go haha)

Yep. If you get no reading that coil is most likely shot. Happened to me on a SA-10 I had

:/ i was planning on either selling it or blowing it all at once and making a fireworks show for my son :/..

recone it with psi softparts or send it to corey aka splaudio and have him make a beast out of it.
