Strange Remote turn on problem

I have three Phoenix gold xenon amps in my system. they all used to work fine, but now my tweeter amp xenon 100.2 only turns on intermittently. it is wired to the same turn on lead as the other amps which turn on fine. i have tried using the turn on wire going to the other amps but same result. the bad amp only turns on about 20% of the time. Any ideas? I just had it repaired by Phoenix gold one month ago and it has worked great until this week. Any ideas folks?

could be possible that either you have a loose connection or your amp was not repaired correctly.

check your wires. tighten everything down and make sure everything is making proper contact.

You might need a relay. There may have been a breakdown in the output of the signal. I usually use a relay when more than 2 components are used on the same lead.

Not real sure but its 3 bucks to try it out.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ponder.gif.ec2527b23f1d287b60dcbba54f95edba.gif

Just to clarify- the problem amp does turn on occasionally and perform fine and turns off properly. What kind of relay should I try?

Just your standard black boxed shaped relay...

... It's just goin' to add constant power to your Remote turn...

... It's a certain way you have to install it though... I have to look at mine and I'll tell you.
