Project: F350 begins...
I have a pair of E8's and a 500rms kenwood amp in my fiance's car, and just yesterday we went to use the car and the amp was in protection mode.
I disconnected the amps positive lead, which resets its protection circuit, and the amp worked fine.
However, every time we turn the car off, the amp will be in protection mode until the power is disconnected and reconnected.
I took a quick glance and there doesnt appear to be any spots where shorting would be an issue. I havent checked under the carpet/seats for any pinched wiring yet though. Moisture doesnt appear to be an issue either. Gains were set properly by voltage as well.
Any ideas? The amp is only about a year old.
